Never actually got the chance to eat in the restaurant but saw plenty of customers doing so and judging by the satisfied look on the faces and the excellent look of the food, I hope I do some time. However along with a few friends...I managed, over three nights or so to sample a wide range of some of the finest single malt whiskies available ranging from Ardbeg, Scapa, Balvenie, Benromach, Glenlivet to name just a few. The bar owner Dieter and his excellent staff made us feel most welcome and his knowledge of whisky made us return night after night. This bar has a terrific atmosphere and was easily the busiest in Tegel at this time. I hope I get the chance to go back some time in the near fu...
Visited twice today. The first time in a camp... friend and attentive waiter. Two hours later for lunch. My wife's special request was accepted at a surcharge. Instead of rubbing apples with smoked salmon. My liver in Berlin was well prepared, plentiful and was served after usual time. The grater cake came only after I had eaten my liver. It was an interesting variant. Ruby cake with apple and fruit. Powdered sugar on the grater. The smoked salmon in a separate bowl, very nicely dressed as a rose. But it still tasted excellent. For those who do not know: Ruby cake is also called a potato buffer. And many well-known recipes were created by mistakes.
Cosy restaurant in Tegel with friendly service, very good coffee for breakfast, as well as a nice selection of flame cake in the evening. Good-bourgeois cuisine. In summer you sit nicely on the promenade, in the colder season the lovingly decorated guest room invites you to stay.
Ich war hier mit meiner Freundin in der Adventszeit zum Essen. Ohne Reservierung hat man für uns noch einen Tisch gefunden. Die weihnachtliche Atmosphäre und der zuvorkommende Service hat uns richtig gut gefallen.Auch die Hausmannskost war sehr lecker.

A good restaurant in Tegel. Service friendly and flott. The food could have had more salt and spice. Otherwise there is a good selection of dishes and the breakfast card also looked very appealing.
