I was pleasantly surprised to discover Mr Wu's in the Broadway Shopping Centre food court. The entire food court has a modern, inviting design and a great ambience. The staff at Mr Wu's were warm and attentive, and the food was excellent value with freshly cooked dishes that were packed with flavor. We tried the fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, and black bean beef, all of which were delicious. I appreciated being able to see into the kitchen through the glass windows and watch the chefs at work, as cleanliness is important to me as someone in the hospitality industry. I have dined at many Asian restaurants in Sydney, but none have compared to the quality of Mr Wu's.
The dining experience got off to a rough start as the restaurant had no record of our reservation. Despite the nearly empty restaurant, they eventually seated us. The wait staff was attentive and most of the dishes were enjoyable and delivered promptly. However, I would not recommend ordering the satay chicken as it was more like a chicken curry with an abundance of onions, not meeting my expectations. Overall, the other dishes were enjoyable and we had a pleasant dining experience.
We dropped in for lunch here before shopping. The Menu is wonderful with lots of food I have never seen before. WE have been a few times now and visit it now and then. I recommend the Crab meat and Cheese won tons.... yummy, the crispy duck with cranberry sauce is an amazing combination and the squid ink fried rice is also outstanding. This place is a gem..also located away from the escalators so isn't so crowded

My husband and I have dined here about 6 times. We love the food here! Their dumplings are excellent, our favourite is the fried dumplings with the sweet sour sauce! And the park prawn wontons with chilli sauce! Their shredded beef in...plum sauce is also delicious! Highly recommended as a quick eat before the cinema or midst shopping! Very reasonably priced!! Our go-to for Chinese food!
3 of us went to Mr Wu prior to a movie at Broadway. This Chinese food was terrible the 3 of us agreed. I dont know if the food was so cheap that is was bad, or the cooks were so bad but the combination...meant we left the food behind and didn't finish it. I will not be returning, only goes to show when no one is seated there do not enter.
I recently visited herrn wu and I tried the vegetarian dump and the san choy construction. the waitress was very nice and made sure that I could check the ingredients for me, as I didn't want any ice in them. both the dumplings and san choy construction...tasteful! I will definitely recommend it and I will go back.
eating was great, some unique items on the menu that they do not see in many Asian restaurants. delicious dumplings and the ducks and vernies were great. the noodles with special sauce also loved.
