Normally wouldn't choose a restaurant in a shopping centre for dinner but went with a group of neighbours and had a very nice evening. More people arrived than the booking had been made for and in no time they set up a second table, with a smile, no trouble at all.Nice decor and, with our two large round tables at the back of the restaurant, you really wouldn't know you were in a shopping centre.Service was attentive. What a surprise find in the broadway shopping centre food court. The whole food court is modern, inviting, cool in design and great ambience. The staff at Mr Wu's, were warm, attentive and the food was great value, freshly cooked with good flavour. We had fried rice, with more traditional sweet n sour chicken and black bean beef, which all looked and tasted great. You could actually see through the glass windows into the kitchen and see the chefs at work, which I like, as I work in the hospitality field and tend to be cautious on cleanliness of kitchens. I had eaten at numerous Asian restaurants in Sydney, but none were anywhere as good as Mr Wu.
It did not start well, they had no record of our booking, finally decided to let us have a table even though the restaurant was nearly empty !!. Wait staff were good and so were most of the meals, all delivered within reasonable time frames, but do not order the satay chicken .It was more like a chicken curry with lot of onions not what I was expecting .Other than that all went well and enjoyed the other dishes..
We dropped in for lunch here before shopping. The Menu is wonderful with lots of food I have never seen before. WE have been a few times now and visit it now and then. I recommend the Crab meat and Cheese won tons.... yummy, the crispy duck with cranberry sauce is an amazing combination and the squid ink fried rice is also outstanding. This place is a gem..also located away from the escalators so isn't so crowded

My husband and I have dined here about 6 + times. We love the food here! Their dumplings are excellent, our favourite is the fried dumplings with the sweet & sour sauce! And the park & prawn wontons with chilli sauce!Their shredded beef in plum sauce is also delicious! Highly recommended as a quick eat before the cinema or midst shopping! Very reasonably priced!!Our go-to for Chinese food!
Had a meeting with a client in the center and stopped here, as the venue looked great.The dumplings were delicious, served really rapidly, even though it was quite busy. Very well presented and very tasty.Staff was very attentive and professional. Very happy with the service.Would definitely recommend this to anyone who appreciates quality Chinese food.Would happily go there regularly :)
3 of us went to Mr Wu prior to a movie at Broadway. This Chinese food was terrible the 3 of us agreed. I dont know if the food was so cheap that is was bad, or the cooks were so bad but the combination meant we left the food behind and didn't finish it. I will not be returning, only goes to show when no one is seated there do not enter.
I recently visited Mr Wu and I tried the vegetarian dumplings and the san choy bau. The waitress was very nice and made sure to check the ingredients for me as I didn't want any egg in them. Both the dumplings and san choy bau tasted delicious! I'll definitely recommend it and I'd go back.
