My husband and I stopped in today (Monday at 2pm) to order take out. We had our 3 month old with us. We were hoping she would be decent enough for us to stay to eat our lunch but as this was our first restaurant outting with her we weren’t so hopeful.Flash forward to the waterworks and trying to quickly gather our stuff so we could wait outside for the food to finish.A man that I presume was the owner asked us to stay and if we wanted to sit in their empty party room so we could eat even if she was having a tough time. How thoughtful. As first time parents these firsts are always stressful and this kind man and our waiter Danny couldn’t have been sweeter, more understanding and accommodating...
Didn't know what to expect, but the food was soooo good. We statyed with chicken parm egg rolls as an appetizer. I never knew this was one thing, and I'm glad I did it now. We almost wanted to order a second round. For dinner I had the Cuban Rueban and my wife had not disappointed both the chicken crunchwrap. We'd both recommend. The beverage menu is also worth mentioning. I can't remember the last time I had a hard decision to get to the drink. Put on the conductor dances and it was a good choice. If you didn't try this place, you should.
This bar in Wantagh is pretty average, with nothing special in terms of drink options. However, the food is surprisingly delicious, especially the French dip sandwich. The staff is friendly, but that's about the best thing about the place. It tends to attract a younger crowd on weekends, even though it has a more laid-back vibe. Parking is a challenge, with limited options along the road or in a tight lot behind the building. It's best to park at the train station and walk over.
Ridgewood Station Tavern in Wantagh offers fairly standard drink choices but pleasantly surprising food. I highly recommend the French dip sandwich. The staff is friendly, which is one of the few highlights here. On weekends, the bar draws a younger crowd, while weekdays have a more relaxed atmosphere. Parking can be challenging, with limited spots behind the building or along Sunrise Highway. Parking at the train station and walking over might be your best bet.

We hosted a private party in a separate room at Ridgewood Station Tavern. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was outstanding. Drinks kept coming throughout the night. The manager was very helpful during the party planning process. Overall, it was an amazing experience!

We love this place. It is clean and comfortable. The staff is wonderful, like management. Her food is also excellent and a step over similar establishments.
