Rising Sun - Table reservation

booked for a session around 13.15. we had lunch for 6 and it was a good meal. my mother is zöliakie and food can be met in pubs and missed, but the GF fish and chips were fantastic. the roasts were really delicious bark meat pink, as desired and charged by sweet. personally for me yorkshires not pudding enough, but I was taught by a north yorkshire nan so have special expectations!!!! that said they were home. the staff was really attentive and helpful and eating came out quite quickly as soon as we ordered. there were many board games to borrow and play while a drink and decide what to eat. the fired and all beautiful and relaxed pub ambiente. in general a beautiful country pub that is good...

beautiful location, and good, on a cold winter day to come to a log fire. the food was usually very good, but we waited almost one and a half hours before it arrived, and not all the meals came when the order was grounded. as a result that most of our group had finished their meals before the rest of the food arrived. pity! despite the problems we held for pudding that was good again, although some of them seemed like half portions?! would recommend yet, but double check their food order is correct and ready to wait one!

it was a bit of a decision last minute and I wasn't in the rising sun in probably 28 years!, but they were in the position to eat us for a nice Saturday. the food was delicious, very tasty and generously serving and attentive, but not over supporting service. we're coming back!

a wonderful berkshire pub, very good food and a friendly team. I was there for a Christmas break and had a very nice evening with my daughter and son

I have allergies so eating out can be a little worrying. The Chef came out and advised me on my choices. Felt completely safe. Many thanks.
