Used to be one of the best Italian restaurants in the centre of Frankfurt. The last 2 times we have been there were horrible. The latest (and final) one was this evening. Booked for 6 people but they had no table ready and were frowning when we asked them to accomodate. Ordered 80 EUR worth of excellent italian wine which arrived immediately. Then the waiters dissapeared for 30 mins. Once the waiter came back we odered pasta and their very expensive filet (circa 35 EUR pp) . very centrally located, rather elevated restaurant, not only for lunch break. nice ambiente. very good tastes also the warm brot before eating. the service, however, often acts as annoyed or stressed and the waiting times are regularly, at least during the lunch break, above average long. Eating selection (Italian) is very large, quality in order, but prices too high.
for me the best Italian in frankfurt. whether pasta, pizza or finest fish and meat dishes. here is all top and for more than 20 years the team has always understood to offer a perfect quality to reasonable travel. super service, excellent weine and great environment!
