I live in Switzerland and used to the local prices. But in this restaurant prices are 30-40% higher than in other places. I could understand if the food would be extraordinary, but not, usual. And location is also not an argument, I visited at least 2 another places in St Moritz with better food and prices. I ordered a water just for myself and waiter brought 750 ml but they had 500 ml. Without asking me about a size of the bottle. By the way it was the most expensive water in my life: 8.80 CHF and in the shop it costs about 1.
The food is fantastic anyway, the hospitality and willingness to help are unbelievable: today at the Engadiner, participants were looked after, warmed up and lovingly cared for. Really great, impressive. We will be back.
Eating is simply amazing (and I am Italian). We had several starters and a main course, everything was excellent. The staff is also great! Overall is not cheap, but it is worth every franc!
