Rita's Italian Ice Frozen Custard

One great place to get real gelato, frozen custards, ice cream sandwich and cakes, sundaes, and many more delightful treats. There are a variety of flavours to choose, I like their famous mango and chocolate, once is not enough! It is ideally located infront of the only playground at South Shore Shopping Center, the Adventure Court. Parking spots are free and ample. In summer time, there’s a long queue but it’s always worth the queue when you get something delightful to eat. My granddaughter never misses to get a scoop or two everytime I take her to the playground Adventure Court. Staffs are friendly. A small establishment at Alameda’s South Shore Center you could miss it. Opened at around Father’s Day it’s a well known ice cream shop on the east coast known for Frozen Custard style ice cream; chocolate and vanilla soft serve and various scoopable flavors and Italian Ices. It’s my first experience with the soft serve twist and it was great. I’m sure many transplants from the east will flock here to get their fix. I’ll definitely make a return trip to try the ices.

Delicious custard, with the trip to Alameda. We had the twist soft serve and blueberry cheesecake. Definitely plan to go back and try the misto shake, a blend of custard and Italian ice.

This place has a good choice of Italian ice, ice cream, cookies and a combo of drinks! You won't be disappointed!

Very, very mediocre. I can't think of a less Italian style of ice cream than the one they do here.
