The restaurant is now under new ownership, and the experience is outstanding! The staff is remarkably friendly, and the atmosphere is clean and inviting. One of my favorite things about this place is the pricing—the owner has kept costs low and hasn't passed any overhead increases onto customers. In fact, the prices are the most affordable in Baltimore County! The quality of the food is also excellent. I often go out of my way for great service, delicious food, and tasty desserts. My personal favorites are the mango gelato and the four-flavor flights. I highly recommend this place, and I'd love to hear any suggestions for improvement!
I don't visit Rita's frequently, but a few days ago, I found myself in need of a recommendation and the staff was incredibly helpful. One of the employees was very friendly and suggested I try the piña colada misto shake with vanilla custard. It was an extremely hot day, and I had just finished my shift, but that shake was absolutely delightful—exactly what I needed! The two men working there were genuinely kind to me, and since I didn't have any cash for a tip, the man I assumed was the owner encouraged me to leave a review instead. They have a fantastic team—I will definitely return!
I had an unsatisfactory experience with the customer service at this restaurant. I bought two quarts of Black Cherry Ice for my family, but we didn’t try it until the next day. Unfortunately, it was excessively sweet and lacked a true fruit flavor. When I returned to the same location with the remaining 1.5 quarts, the owner refused to exchange it, stating it was too late since two days had passed. Although he claimed to remember me, he insisted it was just business and wouldn’t make any exceptions. I told him he just lost a customer. This is not the best way to start a new business.

I visited this restaurant last Sunday around 9 PM and was pleased to find there was no wait, which allowed for quick service. I was thrilled to find they had sugar-free mango peach Italian ice, and naturally, I added some soft serve on top. From what I could see, the restaurant was very clean. I would definitely go back! I enjoyed my dessert so much that I completely forgot to take a photo—please excuse me!
This restaurant provides outstanding customer service! Although it's a bit far from my home, I always make it a priority to visit whenever I'm nearby just to indulge in their cotton candy ritas.
