Stopped in today for lunch and really enjoyed everything we had from the chicken wings to all the pizza toppings. I had the BBQ chicken pizza and it was delicious. They added caramelized onions I think, which add great flavor to it. The place is spotless and has excellent customer service. I was disappointed in the variety of pizza toppings available I noticed that in some of the reviews people talked about pulled pork, and other flavors that were not available today. I ordered a pepperoni Stromboli for takeout. It was severely undercooked and each piece we cut only had a small slice of pepperoni. The cheese was barely visible and didn't have any taste. It was not the best. Paying more attention to detail would greatly improve the experience. The service was average and the atmosphere was decent. Overall, it was a disappointing meal for the price range of $1-10 per person. Food and service both rated a 3, while the atmosphere was a 4.
I have lived in NYC for 40 years and I must say, this restaurant in New Jersey serves truly authentic New York City pizza. The food is fantastic, the music is good, and the atmosphere is outstanding. Parking is easy to find and there is plenty of it. The service is top-notch, with a rating of 5 out of 5. The price per person is very reasonable, between $10-20. I highly recommend this place for a delicious lunch.
