This place used to be buzzing when the old owners had it, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Not anymore! The place is dirty and the food is awful now. I had the falafel salad which was basically a bowl of leaves with 3 bland and undercooked falafel, a couple of cheap olives and half an avocado for £11! This used to be a massive salad with loads of goodies for less money!! The “star” of the show though was my wife’s blue cheese pizza which appeared to have no cheese, blue or other on it and the base was so hard it shattered upon biting, she actually hurt her mouth on it! This place is stuck in the dark ages , as the options for gluten free meals are unacceptable for the 21st century, two options for lunch and that doesn’t include cake. A lame excuse about cross contamination which, if you are celiac or allergic you wouldn’t eat out anyway, so not a valid point. other alternative and health food eateries have been providing a wide selection of foods so why can’t this backwards dump do likewise, vegan cakes can be made gluten free without difficulty or expense, baked potatoes, crustless quiche are options that any intelligent business would provide and wouldn’t be wasted.
This cafe has gone downhill, especially in the last year. When we sat down, we realised the table was dirty (bits of food on it) as had happened a couple of times previously and so asked a member of the team to clean it, which they did (properly). However during our meal we observed another of the team clearing away a different table and were shocked to see them using a used/dirty napkin to flick at bits on the table then walk away. If this is their idea of cleanliness then we won’t be visiting again, which is a shame as we were regulars.
We waited nearly an hour for two breakfasts, even though the cafe was pretty empty. The coffees took ages to come after ordering them. When our breakfast came, we had to get our own cutlery. Had to ask for hot chocolate as they forgot to bring it. Asked for ketchup and our breakfast was pretty much finished by the time they brought it over. Food very average and over priced. Wouldn’t go back.

A nice little cafe just on the edge of the city centre. Pleasant seating area and surroundings and very nice food. However, the service is pretty dire, the kitchen totally chaotic, and staff appear to be incapable of understanding your order. Very long wait for food and the owner seems oblivious to customers?
Home prepared quality food , friendly service , nice atmosphere. Great place to have a relaxing break . You sense the welcome . Food is good value, well prepared with a nice quality touch especially around preparation and finishes. We will visit again
Spotted this little cafe on our walk back from the cathedral the previous evening. Looked interesting. Breakfast choices were great. We both had egg on sourdough toast with a good cup of coffee. Very friendly service too. Highly recommended.
Literally my favourite cafe, the staff are always lovely and the atmosphere and decor is just the best. The food is amazing, the soup and salad is unreal. Really recommend, it's such a happy place.

I recently visited Hereford, and ate a few times at Rocket Cafe. The food and service was always excellent and I highly recommend it for breakfast, lunch or a delicious coffee break.
Bad service. No cutlery available or salt pepper. The whole place felt grubby. Tables not cleared. Shall not be revisiting
