I’ve been to the Roka Akor in Chicago and had amazing food. This one, not at all. The miso soup, brussel sprouts, 5 piece nigiri selection mushroom and truffle rice were all very disappointing. Flavor was missing in every dish. 2 out of 5 of the nigiri was so hard to chew I had to spit them out. The mushroom and truffle rice did not taste like truffle at all, just a mushy, unseasoned rice. I would’ve rather returned them but we were so hungry and trying to make it to the movies on time that we ate 1/2 of our food and decided to eat something else a little later. The server was great but I won’t be returning to either location.
We had a lovely dinner before going to the theater. We enjoyed a chef's selection of nigiri, tuna on sticky rice, and a salad. Everything was delicious. The server helped us choose a wine that paired well with our meal. The staff did a great job accommodating guests during a changing weather situation.
I came in for halal and there was confusion as it what is halal so I was disappointed. I did have to wait about 15 mins for a table despite having a reservation.
This Asian restaurant is outstanding. It offers a great selection of high-quality dishes, including excellent maki rolls and tempura.

Our steaks were well prepared and seasoned, with excellent sauces on the side. The sushi and sashimi were fresh and flavorful.
The service food was pretty good. The portions we extremely small. not worth the money for most items.
As always, it was great. They never fail to impress. The staff is very friendly and efficient.
Food was fantastic. Our server was very helpful with our ordering. Outside patio was lovely.
