This is a great place for a group lunch or dinner; we had a large crowd in the event room. However, the ceiling doesn’t do a great job at absorbing sound, so it was quite noisy and difficult to hold a conversation. On the bright side, the food was very good. I arrived a little late and missed the bruschetta appetizer (which looked great) and opted for the salad, lasagna, and a taste of the chicken marsala. The salad was the typical pre-packaged greens (which I find quite bland), but that seems to be the standard in the US, so I can’t complain too much. When I ordered, the waitress mentioned that they had a gluten-free pasta option too, but then returned to apologize, stating that they actually had no gluten-free pasta available, other than steak, crab cakes, and another veal dish. I was extremely disappointed, as we were not looking to spend a significant amount of money, but they had a special on a surf and turf, which I decided to order. The other couple we were with ordered tomato bisque listed on the menu as "Tomato and Crab Bisque." However, the crab was mixed into the tomato bisque, which I found misleading; it should have simply stated “TOMATO CRAB BISQUE.” They had to return the soup since one of them had a crab allergy. It looks nice but the food was terrible the chicken was over salted and coved in a sea of mozzarella, crab soup was bland and over seasoned at the same time, the chicken I order was soupy and had no crust one of my worst Italian restaurant experiences.
