We count on Macaroni Grill for a consistently good experience. We like the menu and everything we’ve ordered has been tasty. We enjoy the bread. Our servers are always attentive and pleasant to work with. We had a coupon this visit, which made it more affordable and brought us in to the restaurant when we could have made another choice. The dining room is pretty. It is easy to talk and hear a conversation. I enjoy using the crayon to doodle or write on the paper on the table.
The host was horrible. Has no knowledge of how to handle customer's request as he ran off to ask waitress just about everything. The food was terrible!! Taste so bad I just want to puke!!! Went in on father's day only to find restaurant is more than half empty, that's a BAD sign right there. Do not get fooled as they offer discount because they are rundown restaurant and should be closed soon!
The server took 10 minutes to reach our table. After she did, it still took her 5+ minutes to deliver water and other beverages. The bread was stale and our main dish arrived after it had sat under the heater for a considerable amount of time. The manager comped our main dish although he could’ve done more considering the long wait and the hair we discovered in my napkin.
My mushroom ravioli was served lukewarm and was overly watery. The ravioli shells were tough, and the sauce resembled soup more than a proper sauce. Given the price point, it feels excessive to have to pay extra for soup or salad. This was a retirement celebration, and unfortunately, it really dampened the occasion. I won't be coming back. Book a table now
Consistently a great option for the holidays. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and there's no cleanup required. What more can you ask for?
Your hostess was extremely rude and took forever to seat my family. Which I could not understand considering the restaurant was empty.....
Maria, our server, was excellent, even though it was clear she had a lot on her plate.
Romanos is always good. I don't know why they closed the one in Monrovia Book a table now
