I had a delightful lunch experience at this restaurant, with a meal costing between $20 and $30 per person. Food: 4/5 – The dishes were well-prepared, with a variety of flavors that satisfied my palate. I lived in Dunellen 1965 to 1978. The pizza is perfect! I was in Toms River visiting family and had to head up to the town. My uncle owned 8 on the break back then. (Ed) It was closed but I did get 2 slices of perfection for lunch at Rome Pizza. It took me back to the days I lived there. Thank you! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
Old school pizza place. Big fan of their style of classic pizza. Very tasty. Crispy but not dry, baked to perfection. Price is reasonable. Love the counter and old signs. Bonus arcade next door. Parking: If you’re quick you can park out front. Usually a spot along the street if you’re patient. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner
Finding great pizza can be a challenge, but this place definitely delivers. My only suggestion would be to expand their menu to include pasta dishes. For takeout, the service was excellent. Consistently, amazing pizza. Good prices and friendly family. Also, John is great, especially if u wanna try something new. He can do thin crust, half white/half regular, etc. Just tried Nonna’ Sicilian; wow, absolutely delicious. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20
