We were searching for a place to watch the football game during our visit to San Diego, where we were celebrating my 65th birthday. My husband is a big Kansas City Chiefs fan, and I cheer for the 49ers. We stumbled upon a wonderful spot called Rookies Sports Bar, and I must say, from the moment we walked in, it was full of fans from all different teams, including the Rams, Raiders, Green Bay Packers, Falcons, Cardinals, and of course, the 49ers. We absolutely loved the atmosphere! Thank you, Rookies Bar and Grill! When we're back in San Diego, we'll definitely come and visit again.
We were looking all over for a place where the football game was showing we're from Sacramento and we were down to San Diego to celebrate my 65th birthday my husband loves football and so do I he's a Kansas City chief fan I'm a 49er fan we came along this beautiful place called Rookies sports bar and I'm telling you from the time the door open there was on it was people they're from all different teams from the Rams to the Raiders to the Green Bay Falcons Cardinals and of course 49ers we loved it thanks again Rookies Bar and Grill next time we're in San Diego we'll look you up
I had a great time at this place. This was my first time here and the night I went ...was apparent Country night...but it was awesome! The dance floor was huge and the atmosphere was something out of this world. I am not sure if there is an age limit for some folks look a bit young.. .nevertheless..if you're in town be sure to stop in! Pool tables, t.v. screens everywhere, a full bar and food...What else can you ask for?
It’s a laid-back place! We got there a bit late and, unfortunately, the kitchen was closed for the night. However, the ambiance was lovely and the crowd was light for a Friday evening, which I actually appreciated as it made for a pleasant atmosphere with great music. The mango margarita with tajin was fantastic! I’ll definitely come back for a meal next time.

The honey buffalo wings are incredibly tasty! They also have great happy hour specials. Every wall is equipped with TVs, ensuring you can watch the games from anywhere in the bar. The service is exceptional—Tamara is an excellent server! Go Padres!
large selection of wings and no matter who their team is, they have screens for them to follow their favorites. they also seem fully occupied post giving them so their service is faster than most other local bars!
