I had a reservation for two at the bar at 4:30pm. When I got there at 4:15, I saw that the bar was packed. So I said I was there and that I had a reservation. The hostess and manager said “well the bar is full.” So I replied “so how is that my problem? You offered reservations for the bar. I made a reservation for the bar. Why didn't you reserve my seats....at the bar?” I was then told to take a high top table by the back door where people constantly were going in and out. The service was very poor. Waitress was extremely slow. The Manager had to bring water drinks to the table once she finally put the order in. We ordered the guacamole, which was very good. But there was no point in having them make it by the table. The server had no interest in what he was doing, so we had no interest either. Waste of time. We ordered a second drink which was never made or at least never brought to the table. Everything took too long, especially the drinks, which should be the first thing you do. Greeted by a pretty rude hostess. Didn't need to speak as the rolling of the eyes said it all when we asked for a different table. Thankfully, a second person who clearly has a leadership role whispered to her that the there were plenty of tables towards back of restaurant. Waitress was wonderful but we were already turned off by initial greeting. Definitely in need of customer service training as first impressions make a big difference.
The waiter was excellent. The food has definitely gone down hill from years ago. The prices are a bit high for the quality being served. If it were better quality, the cost would be in line. The drinks were meh. It was 85+ degrees outside, the inside felt like it was about80. Not great. Overall it was average. Without our excellent waiter, I believe his name was michael, it would have been sub par.

Our tacos with rice and beans were absolutely delicious as always. However, our nacho chips were very stale and tasted like they were cooked in old oil so they were inedible. Waiter also forgot to bring my extra order of rice and beans. Otherwise, servers were very friendly. Rosa Mexicano is our favorite Mexican restaurant in NJ so we remain very satisfied regular customers!
The location is great and the staff is very efficient and friendly. This is a must see location and if you like Mexican Food this is not only a great place for you, but you will find some nice treats overall.
It was super busy as it was Mother's Day, it took 20 minutes for us to flag a manager. No one had greeted us, no water, etc. Once management got involved we got a server and the meal was excellent.
I came in for dinner on a Saturday night. For a drink I got the Guava Coulada. Was very good. Food was good and all great service when I had an issue would recomend.
