When I called to inform them, they simply asked what I wanted them to do about it. They suggested I either pick off the peppers and onions myself or return the sub for a refund. Unfortunately, this is the night before my son's birthday party, and I'm left with the tedious task of removing a lot of peppers and onions from a large sub. My advice to others would be to double-check your order before leaving and don’t expect much respect from this establishment.
I was not treated politely due to my Latin accent. From the moment I arrived until I finished eating an old slice of pizza and some garlic knots—without marinara sauce because I had to pay extra—they seemed afraid. They kept a constant watch on me, and it was quite obvious. My experience was terrible; instead of feeling welcome, I felt harassed. This is not just my imagination; there were many negative aspects to my visit.
Roses Pizza definitely serves the best subs I've ever had. I haven't found anywhere that even comes close! My top picks are #1 and #2, both with all the toppings and lightly toasted. I've never been let down. The staff is incredibly friendly and always makes you feel at home. The delicious food doesn't stop at the subs. Locals and people from neighboring towns flock to Roses to enjoy their meals—it's truly a local hotspot!
Well, everybody that has tried their Sicilian pie loves it, I followed their recommendations and it's true, finally had it with sausage toppings. The dough is cooked to a crunchy crust, not too oily, the sauce, cheese portioned perfectly, way better than their regular pies, pretty good cold/ hot subs and dinners. The owner and staff are very friendly as well which makes it a pleasant business to patronize. Book a table now
I always thought they had the best subs around. Now not so much. Barely any meat with the bread. Watered down oil and vinegar. They changed the bread and I don't like their subs anymore. I gave them a second chance and I am very disappointed with them. Time to find another place to get subs. I can't believe that you would change your sandwiches. Not happy at all.
Their pizza is by far the absolute best that I have had in this area. Not too greasy, sauce is delicious and doesn't taste processed. Fresh. Everyone who works their is also very friendly, nice and even build friendships with their customers. Would definitely recommend. I moved 30 min away recently but I still travel the 30 min back to get their pizza.
This is the best pizza and sandwich place in jersey hands down no questions asked. The owners are straight from Italy and have over 40 years of experience. If you are looking for the highest quality pizza or sandwich this is the spot.

Who charges $1.50 for marinara sauce? This place does and they don't tell you. Nothing like nickle and diming your customers. The food honestly wasn't that great as well. I would not recommend this place to anybody
