Were you hunting for real Italian pizza and are not looking to finance an overall corporate conglomerate? Rosso Antico does not look further, where is it. Grief I am an Italian grocery lovers and enjoy a delicious Margherita or Quattro Formaggi. Both are in the menu. In this special night I ordered the Margherita and I'm so glad I did it. Fresh wooden fire pizza with soft and tough crust, paired with a generous portion of cheese and tomato sauce - each bite saw the tomato sauce base that breaks through the salty and creamy cheese. Grief Phwoaar Rosso Antico does not care! And even if that was not enough, these guys also serve dessert calzones. They use in the trend these days, they offer a...

We went to Rosso Antico for a anniversary dinner. We didn't have the option to make a reservation as they don't take bookings but we arrived at 630 and there were plenty of spots available. By 7pm though the place was full with people waiting on the seat outiside. Deliveroo and Menulog came in and out constantly. The warehouse-esque style is perfect for the area and the cuisine was well priced for what it was. We had two serves of bruscetta and two pizzas plus a byo wine for $62.50. The byo fee was $5 per bottle. The service started quite well but as time went by the service went down hill. The pizzas we ordered were pancetta di palate and tartufo. Both were quite large, had lots of cheese a...

Mamma Mia! Rosso Antico was really a revelation. We walked in without booking, and luckily we got their last available table ????????????? Grief Welcome to your ground staff and the first round of Peroni was ordered ????????????? Grief Hungry as we were, we decided, for its Prosciutto e Burrata, Diavola pizza and Friterni pizza to go ????????????????? Grief The Antipasto came and it was super-duper delicious, tender and manufactured with high-end products ????????????? Grief The pizza was cooked Napoli-style, soft dough in a wood fire oven and topped with quality ingredients. We found in two great flavors and we were pleased to discover the authenticity of this venue, in fact, not only do... Book a table now

Some of the pizzas we tried included the Tartufo ($25) with Italian sausage and porcini truffle paste, the Quattro Formaggi ($21) with a mix of cheeses, the Diavola ($23) with salami, olives, and roasted capsicum chili, the Napoli ($18) with anchovy and olives, and a special pizza ($26) with basil pesto, sausage, potato, and Parmesan cheese cream. While the anchovies were a bit too salty for my taste, the cheese was incredibly rich and flavorful. The truffle was a standout for me, adding a delicious depth of flavor to the pizza. The special pizza with potato was unique and the fresh pesto added a nice touch. Overall, a great dining experience for pizza lovers.

The service was fantastic. Super fast. Had the olives. Mozarella / Prosciutto. Gnocchi. And 3 pizzas to share between the table. Everything was nice, but lacked flavors. Basics of pizza were pretty doughy and muddy. They served one of the cocktails in a mini-Mason glass and that was really not cool. No terrible experience.

Easily the best pizza in Sydney.  Service was incredible and waiters were attentive, amazing authentic Italian food. Cannot recommend enough! Definitely suggest going on a quiet night if you can, otherwise you may have to wait 10-15 minutes on a Friday or Saturday.  Best food in Newtown!

Real wood fire pizzas !! Not many toppings, but that's how I like it! The menu is small, so everything is exceptionally fresh and you can say that everything is handmade. We take many people here and they always love it. Can not book, but the service is fast, so that sales is pretty fast. Book a table now

The restaurant features authentic wood-fired pizzas and a rustic, minimalist decor. The service was genuine and added a special touch to the dining experience. I would recommend trying the Sangiovese wine. The Arancini balls and calamari were both delicious choices for antipasti.
