This restaurant does the most authentic Malaysian food I have tasted in Australia. I had a seafood laksa and it was fabulous. I cannot remember a better one. My wife had duck in plum sauce. She loved it. She described it as fresh and delicious....The service was fine but we did have some trouble understanding our waiter. The venue is quite large. It was nearly empty when we were there so it is hard to comment on noisiness. There is the option to eat el fresco and the lovely screening trees would make this a good choice. I am not sure I would have the heart to eat duck though as there was a family of wood ducks on the grass.

I haven't been to the Roti House for a while and the dinge have changed, not the better. the air conditioning system was replaced by ceiling fans that are too high to be effective on a warm day, let alone a hot one. the service was slow and indifferent. when our roti was delivered to the table, the curry was cold. the food was lacking seasoning, the portions smaller and less tasty. the fresh limette juice and the ice were replaced at a juice price by lime-sweet water and ice. it is a real scandal, as this was a great place with good Malaysian food.

we used a groupon credit card here. we understood that the intention of this advertisement was to return guests as fully paying customers, i.e. to impress with great eating and service. red the house neither. chosen to be limited to...the lowest cost entrees, mains, and desert was a screed vanilla ice cream with a fragrant aroma. This offer strengthened only the intention not to return to this restaurant. not sure why these young people have taken part at all. avoid this place.

I have a few bumpers that tend not to go to dinner post footy. my thought is that it could be because they can't get Halal tycher. So, had a look around canberra and found a street eating type event and I thought the kitchen today. I had the laksa and contained my glasses to give them a presentation of scaling etc. it was hearty. the staff advised that everything was halved and I could also add a nice drink (wine and beer) with my tee. I've only gotten takeaway from them a few times. Service is prompt, and they make a decent enough Ipoh Hoi Fun which is reasonably priced. Restaurant always seems empty when I go in to collect my order which is a worry, unless 6ish is too early for their dinner crowd?

I visited here about a year ago and enjoyed the genuine Malaysian food. This time was the same good quality dishes at a good price. You can’t go past the luksa. I had the seafood. Others had various curries and all were fabulous. But,...bring your own wine!

We ordered kangkong belacan, Assam prawns and Mapo tofu. There was hardly any flavour. No chilli anywhere! At least ask your customers how spicy they want it. Not all angmohs are scared of flavour.

The food was really fantastic. We saw a chef in the window making the roti properly (not using frozen ones) and the food we ordered was as good as any that we had had in Malaysia. Book a table now

Friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic rotti and laksa. Always enjoy going back here. As I work my way through the menu everything had been good.
