During a recent visit to Oxford to see family, we decided to give this pub another chance after a disappointing experience last year. What a transformation! The food was excellent, the staff were fantastic, and Hayley, the manager, went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We will definitely be returning more frequently and will be recommending this place to our friends and family.
I find the pub to have a very relaxing atmosphere, which is helped by the bar staff, you can tell they are all a real team , they are always smiling and willing to chat with customers .very helpful.. also the food when I do orer is is extremely good value for money, up there with a Michelin star. so overall the best pub in the area.
Our Waitress ALICE was absolutely amazing .. smiley, chatty, professional, caring and very polite. Nothing was to much trouble for ALICE, she made us feel very welcome. ALICE was amazing with my little boy who is 4 he is Autistic with Anxiety and ALICE made him feel very relaxed and calm. Highly recommend a meal here.
I went to this restaurant with some friends and found the food to be delicious. The staff, especially Lexi, provided excellent customer service. Went in for a meal with the family, the change over the last few month is good, all the staff are happy an seems like they are enjoying working there, This most be a reflex on the new management that has taken over, The pub seems to moving in the right direction
Came for a family meal. The food was excellent from Tracy and Ed in the kitchen. We had good service from Amy. We come here now and again for food and will certainly be coming again.
The food was delicious and served hot, the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Kieron who provided excellent assistance. Will definitely be returning soon.
