I've been coming here since I was a little kid because my grandma lives down the street, and it would always be the highlight of my visit to stop at the Royal Bakery! This bakery is soooo amazing and it's really unique for Jersey because it's not an Italian style but a Polish style which makes some of the treats different and gems in the state! everything is so great and it makes me so happy that this bakery is still here! Come early in the day before everything is bought!!!
We visit this area regularly, and always stop in to see what is available. Great selection of delicious pierogi, and of course the wonderful sweets are a special memory lane walk. Enjoyed cheese danish, prune horn, and apple crumb this time. We will always return; thanks for being there! And thanks to Joan; it was nice to see you!
If you venture away from this hidden Polish gem, you'll surely regret it. I visited today and indulged in not just one but two delicious lemon coconut bars. I also wish I had tried a jelly! Of course, I couldn't resist slicing into the babka, and after three slices, I realized I forgot to ask for butter. It was still delightful!
Fantastic bakery! I've been visiting for years, and even though I've moved away, I always make a point to stop by whenever I'm nearby. The pastries are absolutely delicious. Love the doughnuts and rye bread here. For a polish bakery they make exceptionally great cannoli. I love their cheesecake but it is different, it's very fluffy not dense, again I love it but it's a preference. The people there are so sweet. Bread and doughnuts sell out fast so get there early.
The donuts here are always fluffy, soft, and fresh! We particularly love their prune donuts. It’s a small establishment with friendly service. I recommend calling ahead to check if they still have donuts available, especially around noon, as they tend to sell out quickly.
Delicious Donuts Cookies! The donuts were super fresh (and I went 30 min before closing). The granulated sugar with jelly was soft and had the perfect amount of jelly. Prices are super cheap and the woman who helped me was super sweet! Highly recommend this bakery!
Went there today to look at some of the cakes they had not a bad selection at all... Did order a cookie which tasted great... Will be getting a cake there for an upcoming event.... Book a table now
This place is possibly the worst bakery I have ever been to.The Italian pastries were stale and flavorless.I'm sorry I would rather go to shop rite for fresh baked goods. Sorry
