This was the worst Royal Farms I've ever visited. The kitchen staff was terrible. While we were placing our order and browsing other items, the cooks just stood around chatting. When we asked about our order, they said it would take 15-20 minutes, which should have been prepared earlier. After waiting that time, they then said it would take another 15-20 minutes. The staff behind the counter were not only inefficient but also had a bad attitude.
I got a Royal Farms Reward card in June and entered it after my credit card but did not get the 10cent/gallon reward. There was no message after I enter it. This is the 2nd time I did not get the reward. The first time on a different close Royal Farms Iwent in and asked the clerks what happened and they said it happens a lot and they could not do anything for me. It reallyisn't a lot of money but I don't do business with cheating companies.
If an item you order from Royal Farms is unavailable, they often just give you whatever they have on the menu instead of offering to find out what you'd prefer as an alternative. For example, I once ordered a spicy chicken salad club, but since they were out of chicken salad, I ended up with just a chicken tender between two slices of bread. Aside from that, Royal Farms remains a typical experience.
This is a newer store and I like the expanded menu items now. They have Atomic Sauce that you can get on pretty much anything. It has a LOT of heat but not too much that you can't taste the food. I asked for some on the side and used it on the chicken. The staff was happy to provide. The store gets a lot of traffic and there is a nice outside area to eat if you are not in a hurry. Got 8 eight piece chicken, dark meat and western fries and rolls!!! Got it home and started eating and the chicken was the worst chicken I ever ate ,dry ,lots of gristle and potatoes where over cooks dry and rolls hard!! Terrible,will never go back therefor sure!!! What a waste of money and a new store,better change people or will not be there long!!!
If they are out of what you order, they just give you whatever they have instead of asking what you want as an alternative. Hot dogs were drowned in ketchup, mustard and relish. Cook was extremely heavy handed, had to wipe all the hot dogs off. Dining area was very dirty as well. Staff wasn't friendly. Not seeing the appeal of this place.
