Disappointing Experience at Rubio's GrillI recently visited Rubio's Grill on Wednesday, October 4th, around 6:15 PM, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. I had placed an order with my wife over the phone, and upon entering the store to pick it up, I was astounded by the lack of cleanliness and the unprofessional behavior exhibited by the employees manning the registers.One particular cashier, a young Spanish girl, was coughing incessantly, which made both myself and other customers feel uncomfortable. Burned by Rubio's online again. A simple 3 item order, missing 1/3 of the items. I was refunded, and they made that easy, to their credit. And they convinced me the missing food was in the bag when it was picked up. But they claim they couldn't refund the tip since it was done through Door Dash. Door Dash claims Rubio's has to do it. After 40 minutes of talking to both I give up, knowing that I tipped the guy for eating my dinner.Rubio's take zero responsibility for the service (Door Dash). I go here for lunch quite often. The staff is attentive, accommodating, and you can tell they are proud of their restaurant. It is clean, well-stocked and has ample seating even at peak times. The outside back patio is spacious and provides additional seating both shaded and not. The food is delicious across the board. I have sampled almost everything on the menu. It's a good value for the quality of food they serve.
My favorite Rubio's has a standout employee who really makes the experience special. He wears a hearing aid and always greets everyone with a smile, adding such a positive touch to my visits! I just wish I could remember his name because he truly is wonderful.

The lady (Vanessa) working the counter, was more concerned with eating her lunch and Chewing her food in our face than she was at getting our order correct? I specifically said Mexican street bowl. She gave us a side of corn.
Poor service! They consistently mess up orders and blame DoorDash for it. When I called to speak with the manager, Maria, she was very rude. She insisted that I should contact DoorDash myself!
I love Rubio's but yesterday I had to get a Refund . Very bad service. It seems like they had only 1 frier open. I could see a employee just standing in the corner. Very bad
