When you go to Ruth's Chris, you have expectations. They were largely met, but it will be a bit of time before we return as there are many dining options downtown. My wife's steak was not medium rare, and while we all appreciate our potatoes with butter, it was more like butter with some potatoes. The service was also a bit off. Perhaps just our waiter that night, not sure. Given the prices and expectations, they have set a high bar for themselves. Given that, they should hit a 5-Star rating on all cylinders, but tonight was an off night.
The steak was good. The Lobster Mac Cheese was cold, but that’s not the reason for the rating, it was the service, which was either me or my fiancé hunting down the waiter when we needed silverware, refills etc. I never saw a manger once make rounds to check on guests. (Note to management, might want to make sure your staff isn’t smoking Marijuana while serving or if permissible by your est, don’t serve guests reeking of it)
Had reservations, not found, wait 10 minutes turned into 30, place had maybe 10 tables occupied, why the wait?. PLATES ARE HOT! my wife burnt her hand when she touched it. Yes we were kinda warned. But she missed it. Kinda ruined her meal. Had it packed up and forgot the bag as we left. My bad. Nice anniversary plate! Very good but overpriced.
Ruths Chris can be hit or miss which for fine dining is totally unacceptable. We had given up and wound up in this one by accident. We love it. Its a very good steak not Peter Luger but good and the menu is delicious. Service excellent. Very nice bar. Lovely outdoor seating. Its really nice.

Wonderful dog friendly outdoor seating with beautiful views. Most people will order the steak and you should definitely try It but let me tell you the chicken is definitely a great option as well!
For the price, the qualities are excellent from comfort, service and food. However, if I want a steak, not my daily go to place as it is pricey, as everything is a la cart.
Went to the st. Petersburg location for our anniversary. Service was fantastic and the food was worth the price. Very delicious.
