Sado Island is one of the very best restaurants in Perth. Everything is authentic and Superb. Sado salad is superb with their own dressing which they will also sell you a bottle of if you ask. Miso soup is a simple dish but THE BEST. All Sushi and Sashimi is made by Toshi the owner and chef, best in Perth and world class. Nasu Dengaku baked eggplant in Miso and sesame is amazing. The Entre outshine the Mains and we find we always order a multitude of entre and never get to mains because you need to leave room for some Salmon Ngiri and Prawn Ngiri at least. This place is close for us, so we go here often. We are greeted at the door with a smile and the waitress directs us to a table. The restaurant is normally pretty quiet, but always quite crowded. I glance at the menu, and order the same thing- the terryaki bento box. It comes with chicken, beef and fish terryaki with a side of miso soup and white rice. The beef is always extremely soft, and the terryaki sauce is flavourful. The fish is lightly battered and served with a japanese mayonnaise which is creamy and smooth. The chicken is tender and tasty with the tangy sauce and peanutty noodles.
Oh my god best Japanese food I've ever had, personal favourite is the teriyaki chicken with extra sauce and an entree of Gyoza. Probably the nicest teriyaki chicken I've had in my life, got it four years ago been going back for it ever since. Would strongly recommend this place to anyone going into Claremont. For a cheap deal most of the take away lunch menu is 50% off
