Visiting inner Richmond and on our first evening the hostess from High Treason recommended this restaurant. We were greeted immediately and were offered a table in the middle of the room. But I had seen a different table/room (the kind where the seating is as if you are at a low Japanese table but you can put your legs in a pit. He said it was fine add long as we didn't mind going shoeless. Of course. +1 for the host. Our service was attentive and the method of ordering was with a check list of menu items, since it was izakaya and sushi. +1 for service We ordered a variety. The robata items like yakitori, beef yaki (with onion), chicken soft bone. We agreed that these didn't wow us.The sushi...

I visited the restaurant for dinner with a colleague and while the food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, our waitress was extremely rude. She was curt when taking our order, and when we tried to get her attention later to add a few more items, she outright ignored us. When she finally returned to our table, she acted like we were inconveniencing her by wanting to order more. I was surprised that wanting to spend more money was a problem for her. The only positive aspect of our visit was another staff member who, although not our waitress, stepped in to assist us when it became clear our waitress was unhelpful. If it hadn’t been for my colleague and the couple at the next tabl...
This restaurant is a hidden gem. We enjoyed sitting at the tables with lowered foot rests, which added a fun touch to our experience. We ordered the gambler roll, a spicy roll that had one piece that was incredibly hot. It was a thrilling experience and I would definitely order it again. The hot tea was delicious and only $3 per person. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was cozy for my date and me. I highly recommend this place!
I ordered the omakase sashimi plate here and something was off . The fish was watery and NOT fresh. I had to throw it away. Smelling funky was an understatement. Everything I received was small portions. The gyozas were burnt as well.Super disappointed. I was looking forward to this place. I had heard/read great reviews of this establishment. Book a table now
Incredible sushi rolls, loved all of them. We got the dragon roll, spider roll, spicy tuna and another one with salmon/avocado. The dragon and spider rolls were the best.Place has got a nice vibe. Not super expensive for a nice sushi place, which was a good surprise. They're also open late-ish (for SF). Would definitely go again!
This is a must-visit restaurant in San Francisco. It is considered one of the top sushi spots in California. Despite its humble appearance, this bistro serves incredibly fresh and delicious sushi that rivals some of the best in Japan. Seek out the owner Ray and allow him to guide you on a wonderful sushi experience. Thank you!

3/21/23 Tuesday 8 pm, quick catch-up session over appetizers. You got to try the deep-fried mushroom appetizers, and it's a given the fried chicken was good.
Great happy hour menu, delicious food, relaxed vibe, friendly hosts; have been twice now and plan on going regularly!
