I had a terrible experience with the service and treatment from the staff at this restaurant. There was a large hair tangled in one of the dumplings that lifted the meat away from it. After I pointed it out, there was no communication from the staff, and I was even accused of somehow causing it. I sat for over half an hour without anyone checking on me, and ultimately decided to refuse a replacement. Based on other reviews, it seems finding hair in the food is not uncommon for this kitchen. The owners were rude, unapologetic, and unwilling to refund my money, expressing frustration when I asked. I will not be returning in the future. I'm very disappointed.
This restaurant is situated in a beautiful location with friendly service, making it the perfect spot for coffee or a glass of wine. They offer a variety of appetizers, mains, and desserts, along with a children's menu. There are a few vegetarian options available, including black bean nachos, a falafel burger, and salads. The prices are reasonable. However, please note that there are no stroller accommodations available. The kid-friendly atmosphere includes a children's menu, and kids will enjoy watching the boats come and go. Parking is convenient, with easy access near the restaurant.
The food was OK. The service was lacking. It's the only restaurant open at salacia on a Sunday hence they were perhaps busier than normal. The food lacked flavour which was disappointing as it took a while to get it. The drinks were good. There's a beautiful breeze and view there. The staff could have been more attentive. Tables were often left wanting things or uncleared/cleaned.
