Salt Pepper Coffee Shop

I had a pleasant experience at the Salt Pepper coffee shop. The breakfast items were of excellent quality, but I was disappointed to find that beans were not included in the Full English breakfast for £11. I chose not to pay an additional £1 for a side of beans on principle. There is another coffee shop further down the High Street that offers everything you expect at a slightly lower price, so I am not sure why Salt Pepper does not include beans as a standard item. Despite this, the Salt Pepper coffee shop is still a great little spot.

The Welsh rarebit at this restaurant is the best in the world. My husband enjoyed his sausage sandwich, but whenever we visit Monmouth, I always have to order the Welsh rarebit. It is absolutely delicious, served with a salad garnish. We will definitely be returning in September, we can't wait. And the mocha was also delicious, thank you to the staff.

I recently enjoyed a light meal at a restaurant in Monmouth. I had avocado with a fried egg on toast, along with a latte and a delicious blueberry cake. The service from our waiter, Dave, was outstanding and he was very dedicated. The salt and pepper were well prepared. Overall, this place offers the best food and service in Monmouth.

We visited the restaurant today on 14/5/22 and we will definitely be returning. The staff was lovely and we enjoyed a delicious light lunch of sandwiches. Highly recommend this place.
