Visited recently and was greeted with a line to the sidewalk. After hearing that the majority of items were out of stock I opted to have french toast and strawberries, a $3 option might I add. Upon arrival at the table, I noticed 3 strawberries were on the plate. $1 a strawberry, come on... The french toast was mediocre at best, it is difficult to review it through the copious amount of powdered sugar to cover the bland and stale strawberries.The coffee was great on a past visit but I'm sad to say this establishment has tarnished its name. After visiting this establishment months ago and having a great experience i decided to come back for breakfast- was shocked by the utter rudeness and disrespect by the employees, they clearly hate working there and you can feel the negative energy as soon as you step inside the door. The price compared to what i was received and the 40 minutes it took for the food and coffee to finally make its way to our table was truly appalling- was extremely disappointed and will never be returning. I know it is owned by different people now and the true authenticity of the cafe has completely diminished, if i could give it a negative star rating i would, don’t waste your time here
I really want to support this small business over others, but they need to improve their supply availability or increase their stock with each order. I often come in for a baked good (since I get my preferred coffee elsewhere), but they’re usually out of what I want. For instance, when I visited today at 8 am, they only had basic croissants available. The service is generally slow—today, it took 20 minutes to get a single sandwich with only one table occupied in the restaurant—so it's not convenient for me to stop by while running errands. I hope they can address these issues to enhance their operations because the competition is tough, and these details really matter.

I noticed some discrepancies between the prices on my receipt and those on the menu. The waffles were listed as $4.75 each, but I was charged $7 each. While a higher price wouldn't be an issue, it feels a bit dishonest. No thanks. The crepes were advertised at $11.50, but my receipt showed $14. I encourage you to check your receipts against the menu yourself. On the positive side, the staff was friendly, and the food was fairly decent.
I can’t rate the food because I walked out while waiting in line for 10 minutes watching a young girl behind the counter ever so SLOWLY fold a box while the line was out the door. The employees seem to be in a trance, completely untrained and unmotivated. It’s our second and last attempt at this cafe. The owners need to participate and monitor what’s going on.
Absolutely wonderful and cozy little spot. Met the new owner and had a great cup of coffee and blt for lunch. Only complaint is the prices but that seems to be everywhere these days.
It was a little pricey, and the Galettes had an unpleasant flavor. The service was very friendly, but for a pastry/breakfast place, they were understaffed for a Saturday morning.

Quaint parisian motif Café. Coffee is a fantastic locally roasted bean. Visit here any chance I can when in Charleston.
In my travels, very few places have met the standards of this gem. The food was amazing.
