May be the best restaurant in little Belmont, a block north of Watertown line in Cushing Square. Has always been a classy place, but service much improved since two years ago. Excellent wine list. A glass of French Sauvignon Blanc for $9. I had an endive and watercress salad with baby shrimp. Delicious. Then an entree of grilled tuna on a small mound of pasta surrounded by caramelized scallops. The tuna was not overcooked, perfect. My first glass was a Pinot Grigio, very nice. Desserts from Vickie Lee's around corner. Had tasty grandmom cake with a cappuccino. My partner was delighted with her choices. Nice presentations. We left pleasantly filled but not stuffed. Prices are very reasonable....
Excellent service, attentive waiter, delicious food, great menu selections, good wine selection, nice ambiance, just what we were looking for. Combo of tapas orders and entrees. Short rib excellent and tender and salmon crisp while juicy. Our compliments to the chef.
