This review is for 4/27/24 Saturday night. The food…delicious, the service…excellent, the staff was very attentive, the ambiance also excellent. Our first time to Sayola Montclair but not our last. We had the Paella Valenciana and the Salmon Sayola as well as Octopus and Tabla de Serrano appetizers. All were served promptly and just the right temperature. The sangria and wine choices were also excellent. We had the flan dessert to go and it was also delicious. The only negative note that is not related to the restaurant is parking. There is a pay parking around the corner but free parking is not readily available. Oh almost forgot the bread with butter or olive spread…
The ambiance and layout of the restaurant were beautiful. The cuisine consisted of authentic Spanish dishes that were exceptionally cooked and served in generous portions. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a delightful experience and a great choice for a romantic evening or dining with a group of friends. We definitely plan on coming back.
Excellent dining experience. Husband had the seafood paella which was filled with lots of variety of fish, lobster, shrimp, etc. Salmon and Veal dishes were also delicious. The service was attentive and pace was on point. Highly recommend.
The service at this restaurant is top-notch, however, the food was lacking. Every chicken dish seemed to be soaked in buffalo sauce, giving them a similar taste. For authentic Spanish cuisine, it is recommended to dine elsewhere.

WE MISSED YOU So happy to have our favorite restaurant open again. Service and food were excellent as always. Now they serve alcohol which was nice to have a great cosmopolitan made by the bartender. Will be back very soon.
Pretty space, but the food wasn't that tasty and sort of felt like it was stuck in the 1980's in terms of appearance. Also, an item on the menu that appeared vegetarian contained bacon that was not disclosed.
Great place for Easter brunch. The atmosphere was great . The food, I had the paella was really good too. The staff was very friendly but service was a bit slow . Overall a good experience.
I took my wife out for Mother's Day and we enjoyed a set menu with three courses! It would have been helpful if they had mentioned this in advance, but overall it was worth it.

The skirt steak and paella valenciana were delicious!! Perfectly cooked steak and paella was moist and tasty. The drinks were on point!!
