The service provided by the wait staff at this restaurant absolutely deserves a 5-star rating; however, I was disappointed by the kitchen. We ordered Perogies, soup, grilled cheese, a chicken sandwich, and steak tips. The biggest letdown was the soup, which was supposed to be bisque but ended up being a tomato soup made with vegetable stock instead of cream. The steak tips were initially overcooked, but they did replace it with a properly cooked medium steak upon my request. Unfortunately, even with the correctly cooked steak, it was tough and hard to cut, which made it hard to enjoy the meal. We just held a rehearsal dinner in the back room at SBC. This is our second time with this room. It is a nice room for events. The room overlooks the river and on beautiful days the windows can be opened to leave the fresh air. The food was amazing. Everything came out fresh and hot and the guest said how much they liked it. Tara and the rest of the SBC staff were great. Tara is attentive to details and really takes care of making the events special. The bartenders and the waiting staff were great. Several guests who visited the dinner were excited to come back and visit again try items from the regular menu.
We really enjoy trying local restaurants, and after the hotel recommended SBC, we were not let down! The Lobster Mac was fantastic, and the Truffle fries and Perogies we had as starters were equally delicious. Our server, Bailey, was outstanding—very attentive and offered great recommendations for both beer and cocktails. Overall, everything was excellent! We will definitely return next time we're in the area. *My husband loved the beer so much that we went to buy some four-packs down the street!*

We went to SBC after many years after the one close to our place closed down. It used to have many good drinks and great foods. We ordered wings, pasta and sandwich. Food is still good but not great as before. Dry rub wings I have had better before withgood spices. Loved their blackened chicken.
We had a fantastic experience during our first visit! The service was excellent, and the food was amazing. We enjoyed appetizers, entrees, and drinks. Despite the restaurant being very busy on St. Patrick’s Day, we didn't have to wait at all! We're really pleased and will definitely return.
SBC, the place to be! Great food, great staff, great atmosphere and location. We stopped here during a family road trip and we really like it. Situated in Milford Connecticut it has ample parking, kid friendly bathrooms and a fun vibe. Stop on by and enjoy!
Tyler was our outstanding server, showing remarkable patience and kindness as he attended to four lively women in their 60s who seemed to chat more than eat! The goat cheese salad, tomato soup, and goat cheese crostini were all incredibly delicious!

Loved this place. The food was tasty, and the service as prompt as can be for a full house. And even though we had new bar keeps they still did their job very well.
