This place is amazing. I hadn't been here in about 20 years, but my daughter was interested so we went for her birthday dinner. We had the calamari, a large pepperoni pizza, and the Penne Arrabbiata. The pizza was perfectly cooked, and the sauces for each dish are something to write home about. The Arrabbiata was pleasantly spicy and robust. They also provided an amazing tiramisu for my daughter, who's not big on sweets, but she loved it! The service was quick and constant. We will definitely be back here for many more birthdays and many more meals. Fantastic food at a great price!
The bruschetta at Scardino's Italian Restaurant is absolutely the best I've ever had. We dine out frequently, and in the past 11 years, we've only encountered one other restaurant that served bruschetta this outstanding, but unfortunately, we can’t recall its name or whether it was in San Pedro or Long Beach. So now, Scardino's has become our top choice. We used to visit often years ago, but with so many dining experiences over time, it had slipped our minds until a friend brought it back to my attention. Now, my boyfriend and I are excited to return!
I thought this was a chain I'd heard good things about, but it wasn't. The place is tiny, but kind of fun. The staff are all really nice and attentive. Unfortunately, the food is meh. Kind of incipid. The desert portion was pretty small too (had the chocolate cake) I don't live in the area, but if I did, I probably wouldn't go back because there are so many good Italian restaurants out there! Hey, owner/manager have your cook add some seasoning including salt.
Cozy atmosphere, very good seasoning, very delicious dishes, sufficient portion in each dish, the starters are exquisite. A friend/brother in life took us to this restaurant that they frequent, we enjoyed it as a family. Although I didn't pay the bill, the price justifies the quality and service they provide.

Cozy place for your italian fixing and relaxing evening enjoying food and company. I had the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and mushrooms. I would also recommend the lobster ravioli to try. Did have a decent wine selection to choose from.
Great food. Some of the best Italian I have had in LA. I had the Scardino salad, Vodka Penne with scallops, and Tiramasu. Efficient and attentive waitstaff. Would definitely recommend.
I ordered the salmon in lemon garlic sauce with red potatoes and Italian hot vegetables it’s was delicious, then I tasted the LASAGNA and YOU HAVE TO TRIED IT it’s was AWESOME.
The food is good. Too bad the service is so pathetic. I won’t come back here again. Service is so bad that I think they are daring you NOT to tip. It’s a real joke.
