What a fun place! We arrived just as they gave an informative presentation on how they make their red hot cinnamon drops on antique equipment. The museum inside is fascinating and the old fashioned shop is just a treat (pun intented). The number of antique confectionery dies is quite something to see! An unexpected and delightful experience
This historic candy shop should be a must see for young and old alike! A working candy making shop, it allows you to watch the workers create delicious treats as you browse through the amazing display of candy, chocolate and vintage items. There is also a small restaurant and ice cream shop inside.
There are very few old-fashioned candy stores like Schimpff's! They have a fantastic variety of sweets, including some sugar-free. It has a nostalgic atmosphere including a Suda fountain and a candy making Station. We are lucky to have Schimpff's in our community!
During a recent trip out of state, I searched online for activities and stumbled upon Schimpff's. I'm so glad I did! The staff was incredibly friendly, and we even had the opportunity to watch them create their famous red hot candy. It was a fantastic experience! Book a table now
Fantastic little shop! This is a must see gem in the city. Candy making at its finest. We spoke with one of the family members for a bit and he gave us such a history of the business and the building. Decades of history to see first hand.
