We arrived slightly out of breath (having parked in the village) and without a reservation so we were happy to accept the mediæval bedroom with a view down the valley. We each had a soup: the lobster bisque was acceptable as was the asparagus soup....The onion and champagne was winey and the bouillon good. One plain and one vegetable roesti were good but somewhat oily. The mini schnizel was good and the excellent fish goujons were spoilt by an average salad which rather bizarrely included a sliced strawberry. Friendly service and disappointing house white.
Wir hatten den Ritterschmaus: Suppe voraus sehr lecker, der Salat kann selbst am Buffet zusammengestellt werden - frisch und schmackhaft, auch die Saucen - einzig etwas wenig Platz zum Schöpfen für 15 Personen. Der Spies mit verschiedenen Fleischarten kommt mit Gemüse, Polenta und Kartoffelgratin und von allem wurde nachgeschöpft. Personal ist sehr aufmerksam. Der krönende Abschluss war dann noch der gemischte Dessertteller - mhhhh
We attended a rehearsal dinner here. Food was pretty good. The soup served in a bread bowl was probably the best part. Service was excellent and attentive considering that we were a very large group of over 100 people. Servers were friendly and had a good sense of humor, much needed when you're dealing with a giant group of drunken Americans. It was a lovely place to host a party. You can't beat the views.
O Castelo de Sargans é um local muito apropriado para apreciar as primeiras cadeias rochosas dos Alpes Suíços.Visitei em pleno verão e a vista é tão maravilhosa quanto no inverno, com o benefício de você poder almoçar ou jantar ao ar livre no restaurante no castelo, que é super aconchegante. Tem um mirante lindo e você pode fazer belas fotos neste local! Recomendo!

We had a good lunch at Schloss Sargans and the lady running the establishment invited us to visit the Schloss Tower and their small museum. In the tower, we found middle-age paintings on the walls, listing the family names of the owners of the schloss,...their coat of arms and various weapons. Overall it was a great experience and an excellent service!
came for an afternoon snack' asking for a beverage menu we were told availavble is the usual' with no intention to extend any service' beyond a delivery of the beverage' sad state of the hospitality industry
Mit vier Personen haben wir sehr gut gegessen und getrunken. die Speisen waren hochwertig und sehr schmackhaft. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Die Preise schon recht hoch.
Wir waren im April im Schloss Sargans essen. Das essen war sehr gut. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Ambiente ist sehr freundlich und heimelig.

Nice location and view! We had the salomon salde, food quite poor for what it's charged! Strange when you have to pay additionally for some more bred!
