Came here in February as we were staying at the Best Western Hotel Hamburg International, and wanted to try some original German cuisine. Superb staff that spoke very good English and even translated the menu for us as the phone translator was struggling with...some of the dishes. Food arrived in record time, in fact i don't think i have been to any restuarants that served food that quick. Would definitely recommend popping in to make a reservation though, as it did get very busy in there. Price was extremely good. Adults and Toddlers, plus drinks and the total came to less than Euro!! Awesome place! Thank you to the staff for making us feel welcome!
Well, as it's name suggests, it is a restaurant serving mostly pork. In reality, it is a little bit like a pub inside. There are a range of schnitzel dishes and some with pork steak. We had one of each. They have an English menu....The food was fine, like good pub steak and chips (but pork). The portions are generous, but you can have smaller ones. Spatzle by the way is soft pasta which is then fried. Astra is the local beer and was excellent. Service was excellent also.

Was there with a friend, we ordered something to eat, and a couple of beers. After a few minuttes the waitress arrived with the beers and managed to drop both of them on me, I was soaked in beer. While we did get a free...beer for the mishap, it simply did not make up for the discomfort of having to sit and eat while soaked in beer. In addition my Schnitzel was somewhat dry, and not as good as I had hoped for.

First, this place is cash only. But that's the only con. We visited because it was close and highly rated. The beer was great, food was superb (if you're looking for classic German), and service was excellent. It was also relatively inexpensive Euros plates, beer, and glass of wine). Quick service, too. A good recommendation if you're in the area.
Went to Schweinske Hamm to get decent schnitzel and a great beer for a good price and that was exactly what we got. Clean place, quick service. Two plates, one side, two shots and one Strudel for €31. That's great. Walkable from NH Hotel Hamburg Horn; takes around 15min.
This was perfect for a low budget meal, especially as I was by myself. They had Sky Sports on TV so I could watch the football. ther ws no pressure to finish and free up the table.The waitress was very nice.
I eat there few times and the food was good and fresh I eat a lot of Schnitzel a lot of kind ,and everyone was very tasty and with this a big glass of beer and the service and prices was good.

A good beer and a very good schnitzel. The service was super fast and super nice. And all this for a very acceptable price. Definately a place to check out if you're in the neighborhood.
