kellner are not interested in the work, they are arrogant and treat their customers like müll. they don't even look at you and don't serve you. I waited with other people in the waiting queue for about 30 minutes today and the waiter didn't even come...as we ask if we wanted one table or let us know how long that will last. almost all tables were empty in the restaurant. I asked if we could have a table inside and he reacted quite angry that I should wait. the people before me were of the same opinion. they were very rude. I wouldn't recommend this place.
The cafe restaurant on the lake is very spacious. It seems to be used for celebration ceremony, etc., and on the day when I visited, there was a nice seat placed on the table. The restaurant faces the garden, but the silhouette of the beautiful garden is only available because it is a sleek glass. After a cup of coffee, walk around the garden. The castle from the garden is very gorgeous. There was an elegant chapel near the tower stretching in the sky.

the rooms of the restaurant are centrally located in the castle and are furnished stilecht. the menu was quite clear (preseason) but sufficient. eating was of good qualitty, the prices appropriate. the service was very accommodating.
in such a situation, what more do you want? we have never been disappointed. have been several times with friends and visit in winter in the beautiful rooms to brunch. very nice service. will be brunching again.
for special occasions, the schloss café offers great spatialities in the castle. the seasonal menu of regional ingredients such as weidelamm was excellently prepared and was served attentively and friendly.
