In Blackpool there is obviously an abundance of fish and chip restaurants, but finding a gem amongst all the rough is a little more challenging. However, after a lengthy walk around the town we settled on 'The Sea Fish Chip Restaurant ' for our lunchtime meal. What a little gem of a restaurant, it was clean and tidy, spacious and welcoming. Simply find a seat, go place your order and wait for table service. The food arrived promptly, hot and tasty with neither the fish or the chips being too oily or greasy, which shows the kitchen are paying attention. I have visited this restaurant several times and always order the Pensioners special, which includes Fish and Chips, a slice of bread and butter, and a cup of tea. The price has increased to £8.70, but I remember when it was only £5.00 and you could choose coffee instead of tea. The fish is always freshly cooked and the portions are generous. The taste is delicious and the staff are friendly. You order at the counter and can only pay with cash, as the card machine has been out of order for a long time. When in Blackpool, you must try Fish and Chips at least once, and this restaurant is a good choice.
We have been here before and love this chip restaurant. We are both vegetarian, so I had chips and peas and my daughter had chips and curry sauce, we both had a mug of tea as well. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the best chips we’ve had in ages. We were there before we went to an event at The Winter Gardens and it was so handy where it was situated. The restaurant was exceptionally clean and we were very impressed by the cleanliness of the toilets. We didn’t use the menu but there seemed to be a large menu available.
Had a chippy tea here before a show at the Opera House and it was expensive as expected in a town centre! It was clean and idy though which is a big plus. I enjoyed my fish and chips but the plates are tiny meaning instead of having fish chips and peas on my plate, the peas were served in a bowl and I had to keep making room on my plate to ut the peas on a bit at a time. It would have been far easier to serve on a bigger plate with all the food together. However still a tasty meal.

What a find, town centre location. Amazing quality, and value food. Very friendly staff and very clean. Two large fish and chips, one mushy peas, two coffees and a coke. Change from £30. Sauces are proper Heinz and everything was just perfect. Not your usual tourist trap of overpriced slop. Far better than Harry Ramsden. The fish was flaky and pure white, batter was crispy and everything was fresh. Please go and support this awesome restaurant .
We were staying nearby at the Premier Inn and were looking for a quick and convenient meal that was easily accessible for our 85-year-old father. We received a very friendly welcome and our order was taken promptly. Our food arrived in less than ten minutes and was fresh and delicious, offering great value for money with top-notch service.
HUGE! This is a 'VERY SMALL ' fish and chips! I couldn 't eat it all. The flavour was the best I have ever tasted and the lemon wedge was very large too. Extremely good value for money and will be returning as soon as possible. The place is spotless and very well run.
There was a good choice on the menu, we found the staff friendly, the food arrived in good time and was tasty, there was plenty of chips on all our plates. Do take your receipt and check it, as we were overcharged, but got a refund when we brought it to their notice

I discovered this fantastic restaurant recently. It is bright and spacious. The chips and gravy were perfect, even better when paired with a meat and potato pie.
