We ordered takeout, but when my husband got home, we discovered that half of the order was missing and the items we received were incorrect. The woman on the phone was rude, and her attitude in person was even worse. Not once did she apologize, even after I made a trip back to the restaurant to correct the order. She went through the food I returned, asking if we had eaten any of it, and then tried to make me pay a $3 difference from what my husband had already paid. Absolutely not! It's clear that customer service is not their strong suit, and judging by the quality of the food, neither is their cooking. We will not be going back.

My family dined at this restaurant twice—once on our way to the Texas coast and again on our return home. During our first visit, I ordered the blackened salmon and shrimp, and the second time I opted for the ribeye. Both visits, I also had fries and green beans, which were enjoyable. While the service could have been a bit quicker, the overall atmosphere was laid-back and the food was outstanding. I would certainly recommend this place.
First of all, the service is slow. The food is just average. I found the base of the lettuce in my salad, and the green beans were stringy and tasted old. The chicken fried steak lacked flavor, while the shrimp was acceptable. The prices don’t reflect the quality. Dine here at your own risk.

I ordered the alligator tail and mahi-mahi combo. The alligator tail was decent, but the fish and shrimp were severely overcooked. For a $20 plate, half of it was just broccoli. The presentation looked nice, but the service was average. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.
.If your looking for something fancy not the place. If you like good food resonably priced try this place. I would recommend the fish or shrimp. Been back several times Oysters only seem be large and good during season. The Alligator is excellent must have each visit.
This restaurant offers the most delicious fried shrimp I've ever tasted! The fried catfish is outstanding too. The green beans were the best I've ever had. Although the service was a bit slow, the meal was absolutely worth the wait. The staff was very friendly.
I can't believe the seafood here is even better than in places like Bolivar, Galveston, and San Leon! The shrimp are enormous! The service was excellent, too. It's definitely worth the 1.5-hour drive. I'll definitely be coming back!
