What made the experience even more baffling was that we were simply asking basic questions, taking our time, and remaining polite. In response, the staff raised her voice and spoke to us condescendingly, as if we were being difficult. When we asked if we could sit at the bar and if a couple could move over a stool to make room, she loudly voiced her concern, saying they were "a little OLD" and that she felt bad asking them to move—a completely unnecessary and ageist remark made right in front of us. (By the way, the couple moved without any issue.)

Typically, when selecting a restaurant for dinner, I prioritize either exceptional food or cocktails, but Semolina Kitchen offers both! We absolutely love their pizzas, pasta, and burgers. The cocktails are fantastic, and they'll even whip up our favorite off-menu drinks. We prefer sitting at the bar and often try to snag a spot, but it's usually busy, so making a reservation is wise. And I must mention, their brownie sundae is amazing!
Years ago we fell in love with Dave’s fresh pasta. Then we moved out of Davis Square and semolina‘s came in not too far away from us. Whenever we have a chance to get there we go. Are usually try to get a pasta place but the sandwiches are good to. AndI always like sitting belly up at the bar for a good experience. Outdoor seating is high demand, so plan accordingly

The food at Semolina Kitchen is absolutely delicious, bursting with rich flavors and enticing aromas. The service is outstanding, with attentive staff from the hostess to the servers making sure every part of your visit is pleasant. I also love the restaurant’s atmosphere. I will definitely be returning!
Kind staff, diverse menu options, and delicious food and drinks! Everything we've tried here has been great including the fries (which can be hit or miss at other places). All the seating areas (indoor, outdoor, and tent) and bathroom are nice and clean. My favorite restaurant in the area.

Really fantastic Italian food right near Tufts campus. Pizzas are a bit heavy but flavor is good and to each their own. Salads and appetizers are great as well. Restaurant is a little dark and hard to hear in, which contributes to a romantic ? atmosphere but can also be annoying.
