I've read the other reviews on Sevardi's so I'd like to put the record straight. Firstly, this is a great restaurant for a nice intimate dining..not really suitable for large crowds in my opinion. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere with crisp white tablecloths, flawless white walls and an interesting collection of Venetian masks on the wall. The service was excellent, attentive and very switched on to what was on the menu and had great knowledge of the produce and wine list. The food was amazing with a great selection of specials. The three of us ordered the prawns, calamari and the NZ whitebait, all of these were perfectly cooked. We all ordered the eye fillet morsels cooked mediu...

I've been here a few times as I hanker for decent Italian in the area but once again my recent dinner wasn't good enough. It was our work Christmas party and we'd arrange a set menu of a few choices for a very good price. The service was pleasant and the atmosphere is cosy, but the food is very hit and miss. Our entree was antipasto platters which were plentiful and of good quality. Many of those around the table commented how much they enjoyed their mains, but I got a dud. I'd ordered my favourite, spaghetti marinara. While the portion size was huge, the sauce was so rich it tasted like pure tomato paste. No flavour except the overwhelming tomato intensity which ruined the taste of the seaf...

this is a restaurant with a confused personality, it is clear from pricing and some of the ambience that they see themselves at the higher end of dining. However there are plain white melamine tables without tablecloths and the salt is Himalayan pink, but in disposable plastic grinders. But really most of it is just not good enough specially for the price. $275 for two courses for 4 people with one bottle of wine (upside is that the wine list while not extensive is reasonably priced) The entree dishes were ok but not outstanding all the main meat dishes were dry and over cooked, the one pasta dish we had was good. Staff were friendly and attentive if not overly experienced. But just overall t...

This morning I popped in to grasp a couple of coffees and two bacon and egg rolls. Timing wasn't an issue - normal 15 minute wait in a sleepy cafe cum restaurant - I was presented with possibly a tradie taxed price of $27.00. This in itself was a reason not to come back , but upon opening the bacon filled roll I found a generous luke warm offering of barely legal bacon. Generous , but not even cooked. Fat was white and raw- this is a joke right ? My discovery was on the road minutes away to work so I didn't bother demanding a refund or retry - so Trip advisor here we are :0) Avoid this place for anything but dinner (from the reviews?) We were visiting from Brisbane staying with Sydney friends. For starters, we were reminded how cheap good restaurants are in Sydney compared with Brisbane. The choices we made at Sevardi were terrific. Part boned quail, scallops, crumbed veal, veal fillet and fettucini were all ample serves and wonderful range of flavours. The service was very attentive and positive. The restaurant was full and therefore quite noisy until a couple of tables emptied and then it became much more pleasant. One of the best restaurant meals we have had.

This little Italian restaurant has been a favourite of ours for several years. Located just a short walk from Beecroft railway station, with BYOG available, this licensed restaurant is a gem in the suburbs. We started with a share entree plate followed by mains - mine was the chicken and my husband ordered the veal. Both delicious. Staff on the night were inexperienced unfortunately, but this did not spoil our dining experience.

This place used to be great. No tablecloths, but they charge $40 for a steak. There were only two tables for a Saturday night. The food is good. The service was great. It sounds petty but - bring back the white tablecloths and standard wine glasses and the people will come back.. The Beecroft crowd are conservative people..

Looking for a happy Saturday with friends. Generally most disappointed with the meals. Chicken tough, Squid squashy and tasteless, salads ordinary. Thank God we took our own wine. Spoilt an evening with high price and low cooking/presentation quality. Book a table now

Having eaten in this little quaint restaurant before, we were rather disappointed with the evening's mains - the pasta was under cooked (still a little hard to chew). Hope we have better luck next time.
