This is a great family-friendly restaurant perfect for hanging out with friends. I've been coming here for decades, since I was a child, and I absolutely love the taste of the papas and the moyo! The fried chicken skin is incredibly crunchy and flavorful, and the variety of pizzas is delicious, especially the Supreme and the chorizo with black olives! They also serve beer and have pitchers available for those hot days when you're catching a game. And let’s not forget about the buffet!
The lunch buffet at Shakey's Pizza Parlor is outstanding, with a variety of pizza, chicken, a salad bar, and a few other selections. You can return for extra servings of chicken and pizza, but the salad bar is limited to one visit. This policy has evolved over time. I also wish they still had the dessert pizza that I loved, but unfortunately, it's no longer on the menu. Despite these changes, I still believe this is the best Shakey's buffet in the San Gabriel Valley.
My father used to bring me here when I was a kid, and now I bring my little girl to create our own family memories. We try to make Fridays our official 'PIZZA FRIDAY.' As soon as we arrive, my daughter shouts, "Piiiizzzzaaaaaaaa!" The pizza is delicious, the chicken is tasty, and the mojos are fantastic. It's a great place to enjoy your favorite toppings on pizza, served in a perfect thin pan size.
Shakey's has amazing fried chicken! The pizza is consistently great as well. I personally prefer pepperoni, but you can choose your favorites. The MOJO fries are a must-have too. If I eat in, I might even enjoy a pitcher of beer. You really can't go wrong! Book a table now
At Shakey's Pizza Parlor, the pizza, mojos, and chicken are always outstanding, and I can't wait for our next order. Most of the staff members are friendly and accommodating, making the dining experience even better. The menu offers a fantastic selection!
The manager at Shakey's Pizza Parlor came across as somewhat assertive while reviewing my order, but the rest of the staff were prompt and courteous. I would certainly come back for the lunch combo from their menu.
The restaurant was quite crowded when I visited. The food was tasty, but the tables were dirty, as was the game room. There was no staff attending the game area, and I even witnessed someone stealing prizes.
