I have ordered take-out from Shanghai twice in the past week. The first time I had it delivered was towards the end of last week and it was so good that I drove there to get an updated menu and ordered again yesterday afternoon. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and it was great to see that they handle their own deliveries (mine arrived within 25 minutes of placing the order). All the ingredients are clearly fresh and the vegetables have the perfect amount of crunch. I got 2 large spring rolls and the schezuan chicken with fried rice. I’m a regular customer to the shanghai, on Saturday night, 24/04. I can’t afford much and I treated myself to a mushroom changhai and a fortune cookie. I live in dalneigh and I’m completely paralysed lady and that’s my treat. It came, the delivery was delivered and it was all over the bag. The top had come off and the Chang main was dripping all over my path. I then received a replacement meal, there was no fortune cookie. The meal was then delivered, the fortune cookie had to be delivered by a driver that wasn’t pleasant. I then phoned again on Sunday, the staff were most unpleasant and I feel really really sad that my one treat of the week has been handled so disrespectfully. I will never...
Delicious take-away. My husband and oldest little walked over from the Premier Inn to grab us dinner from Shanghai. He commented that the staff was incredibly nice. Wow we had SO MUCH FOOD! The portions are large! We enjoyed everything. Orange chicken. Honey chicken. Rice. I had some sort of lo mein or noodle dish. Everything was fantastic. I wish we had a fridge in our room because I felt so guilty throwing the excess away.
This was my favourite Chinese takeaway when I was with my family in Inverness four years ago. We would always order here every night. I was surprised by the change in quality. Char siu fried rice was too oily for my taste (don't get me wrong, I love fried rice, but this one was too oily in my view). The glazed chicken wings were bland. On the upside, servings are huge.

I ordered several appetizers and was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion sizes. The Chicken Satay, Ribs, Prawn Toast, and chicken soup were all delicious and more than enough for one person. Despite some negative reviews, I found the staff to be friendly and the food to be tasty. I'm glad I decided to give this place a try and would recommend it to others.
Tasty food. Reasonable pricing. Fast delivery using Inverness Eats. We ordered the set meal fot three. Everything spot on apart from the banana fritters that had gone a bit soggy. It would have been better to bag them up separately like the chicken balls with syrup in a tub.
This is a great chinese. The portions are big, food hot and really tasty. Our order was ready to collect 20 minutes after phoning. The chicken satay started is great! This will be my go to Chinese when I'm in Inverness
This is the second time I’ve ordered from here and I have to say 10/10 very good I ordered the special chow mien and pancake rolls all very good not greasy and hot arriving

Noodles very tasty, food hot and spare ribs really tough. Meat in noddle dish also very dry and tough. Disappointing and quite expensive.
This was the worst meal I have ever had in or around Inverness! The duck was tough to chew and the chicken was subpar.
