Overall, the food isn't bad; however, there are a few things that can be done to improve the food quality and service. I ordered the fish and chicken tender combo with medium-sized shrimp and was given little, small shrimp. Also, I asked to substitute the fries for fried okra and was still given fries upon ordering. Lastly, the chicken tenders were seasoned well and tasted good, but were really dry because they were overcooked. Not sure where the management oversight is in
This has become my go-to spot! They offer a wide range of options at the best prices I’ve seen around. Their seafood selection surpasses the competition by a mile, and the prices can’t be beat. But they’re not just about seafood—I’ve tried their chicken, subs, grilled dishes, and even the salad, and everything has been excellent. Give Shark’s Fish Chicken a try; I’m sure you’ll be pleasantly surprised and keep coming back.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The service was excellent, and the place was spotless. It's located in Marlow Heights Plaza, making it convenient for takeout, especially for lunch. The food was delicious, earning a solid 4 out of 5, while the service and atmosphere both received a perfect 5. I highly recommend trying the Fish Sampler and the seafood dishes. Plus, there's free parking available!
The food was bland and under-seasoned. I ordered the Whiting and Shrimp Combo with Cajun Rice, but the fish was completely unseasoned, while the shrimp had a bit of flavor. The rice didn’t taste Cajun at all; it was more like yellow rice with vegetables. I also tried the Fried Mushrooms, which were overcooked. This was my first visit to Shark's Fish Chicken, and sadly, it won’t be my last. Book a table now
On Friday, April 29 2022, my husband and I ordered the Whiting from this place. It was a waste of money. The food was awful. The fish taste like rubber. It?s unacceptable that you can?t patronized restaurants in your own community without feeling rob. Worst quality of food ever!
Please make sure my order is correct—I could really use a break. Everyone knows you’re supposed to double-check before handing it over. My receipt for Ticket 21 from Saturday, July 23, 2022, clearly says RICE, not those terrible fries. I even helped by spelling it out: R-I-C-E.
This place is great! I always get the whiting platter. They have the best tasting fish in the area. I'm not sure what they sprinkle on it..but it makes it amazing. I am moving to Virginia.. but will come back for my need for fish.
