Dry, greasy, not fresh Shawarma We visited the place twice. Each time the shawarma was not cut fresh from the device but served to us from a storage container. It was not heated sufficiently in the microwave. It was very greasy, but the fat didn't cover up the dryness of the meat.Service was obnoxious, and when we noted the lack of freshness and the unhealthy fat the person at the counter said that they were chosen best shawarma in the East Bay and our problems are in our heads. It's a nice place for people watching for those of us crossing the bridge from SF and visiting the East Bay.

Restaurant was understaffed: took them 23 minutes to make my order (one wrap) and the water dispenser wasn’t refilled until I brought it to the counter myself. They were out of chicken. The lamb in the wrap was cut into pieces way too big for a wrap, like big enough you need three bites to eat it, so when you bite into it you tear all the meat out of the next two inches of wrap. Two of the chunks of lamb were composed of mostly inedible gristle. Portion size was disappointing for the price. Sauces and fries were extremely good though.

I ordered the chicken wrap shawarma, and found the chicken a little bit rare and not cooked very well! I pretty sure it wasn’t cut from the “Seikh” itself, but they made it on the grill cause we entered the restaurant and hour before closing! I was going to throw up and had some stomach pain at night! It was my first time trying out this shawarma but I ate the worst shawarma ever. I have tried the Jordanian and Syrian shawarma but it’s never taste like that one! And was too pricey for the quality and size. I don’t recommend it

A great spot for shawarma and falafel. While the shawarma is a bit expensive at $14 a wrap, it is absolutely fire. If you’re running on a budget, the falafel are fresh and only 50 cents a piece; a plate of 6 for only $3 was a small meal in itself. They also gave us lifesavers at the end of our meal which was a nice detail; will be coming back! Book a table now

Casual eatery, friendly vibes, accessible menu. I ordered the loaded fries and man are they loaded feeds a party of 3 or more. Generous heaping of protein, pickles and sauce the fries were incredibly crunchy! They are on the salty side and theprotein was fairly dry helps the fries stay crunchy.

Food was great though on the pricier side. The restaurant itself is exteneky clean and nicely decorated.I got the house salad with chicken and the hibiscus drink, and we also got arabi plate with tabouli salad. Food came out fairly quick and service was friendly.

Great, quick service. However, the falafel sandwich is a bad idea. A subway kind of bread just doesn't go with the middle eastern ingredients. The sandwich was also pretty dry. It would have been nice to have some sauces on the side. Overall decent experience.

This is absolutely the best shawarma I've ever had, across multiple cities in the US. Everything was perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and wonderfully spiced. The portions are also very large! Definitely recommend stopping in for tastyfood! Book a table now

Smaller than expected and not what expected as Ive had it overseas. Very greasy and fatty oil. It was super small on diameter and not as pictured in photos. Maybe a bad batch. I was super excited, but glad I was able to give it try locally.
