Shenkin is a great neighborhood cafe for all day breakfast and coffee. We dined at the one on Crown St 3 times while we were on holiday in Sydney. Special thanks to Kat and Ellie for their attentive service and warm conversation each day!! They remembered us each morning and asked what we were up to that day. It's nice to have friendly conversations when on holiday. Over the course of the days, we had the toasted muesli with yogurt and fruit and the zucchini omelette with sourdough toast. The food is really good and flavorful. Shenkin is a great local find. The latte is also strong like it should be. There are a couple of other locations throughout Sydney.
shalom! Great staff! Food is light really tasty We have been here twice can’t fault it.Eggs Florentine , Tel Aviv I think the felafel burger were all amazing. Coffee is on point the green vegetable juice w/ ginger watermelon to top it off.Parking on crown street can be a pain but that’s pretty much it Great for people watching Yalla Nakoul!
We came here for a private function (whole venue booked). Great food, particularly falafel & hummus and great service. It's in a great location. Quite a small space but what there is has lots of character. Would love to return and see it during normal operation & try more of the venue.
Came here for breakfast with my brother, had nice breakfast and coffees but to be honest what made it special was our waiter, smiling, professional, enthusiastic, fun and full of energy, yaar is a real asset to this place. Loved the "flatte"!! Will definitely be back soon! Thanks again yaar!

Called in here this morning for a coffee on my way to an appointment. The coffee was delicious, accompanied by a bacon & egg pastry... absolutely scrumptious! Service was fast, efficient and polite :)
Amazing food and service. Coffee and Chai is the best in Surry Hills. Absolutely love this place! The Laban Plate or Dip Board are safe for you. So ridiculous delicious!
Enjoyed a breakfast outing with the family. Good food and nice menu. Coffee pretty good to. Service good. Decent helpings but a bit pricey. I enjoyed the Shakshuka.

The food here is big on flavours and spices. The shakshuka is great. The dip board is also good. I've not been disappointed here. The service is friendly too
I had their waffle dish, and it was phenomenal! Probably one of the best I've ever had. Will definitely return!
