Its been sometime since the recommendations started on Shenkin's Shak. I picked the perfect rainy day to visit and after getting through the pokey rabbit-warren I resided in the back courtyard. The dining area is a little congested, and between seats, staff running around and people trying to pay its a little bit crazy up front, so i recommend making way to a little peace outdoors.
The coffee is sensationally good. After expecting a pretty simple menu with the basics it was tiring to see how much was available - enough for a significant amount of repeat visits to gauge the real abilities in their food, alongside sufficient time to actually read through the menu. Love the menu here, and I love the overall decor. Service the day I went was a little slow, and I hate to say it a bit rude, but it's all in days work I suppose. I loved the middle eastern influences on each and every plate, and I thought the portion sizes for the prices were really great.

I came here twice and had crowned the Shakshuka both times with drawn beef. The first time was a few months ago and the food was absolutely delicious! The pita bread was fresh, the best I've ever had. Grief
The second time - today - the food was ok. Both the drawn beef and the pita bread were not fresh at all ... a bit disappointing.
Delicious and other menu. Middle East / Israeli with a turn. Some big healthy possibilities for breaks and lunch. Always consistent and coffee is always great (also in one of the other outlets). The service is fast and friendly. Only disadvantage is that it is really busy to wait for a table and be very hot in the shop.
Wow Enmore! I was amazed and excited to see the explosion of cool that has happened almost overnight along Enmore Road.
