Cabramatta is filled with Veitnamese restaurants, so when Shikumen opened up, it was quite a nice change to the dining scene. Serving up Shanghainese cuisine, Shikumen has a large menu and some great lunch specials. I’m pretty sure everyone who has tried xiao long bao loves it. And if you don’t, you probably had a not very good one! Xiao long bao are Chinese soup dumplings, which are steamed in small bamboo baskets (translating to where it got its Chinese name from). Wrapped in a delicately thin dough, these small dumplings will burst open if you’re not careful with your chopsticks! Shikumen makes pretty decent Shamghainese food, especially for the Cabramatta area which is not typically known for this cuisine. The restaurant itself is nicely appointed with a very clean appearance and dumpling kitchen. At the front so guests can see the staff hand roll everything. The staff are friendly and inviting, always happy to make recommendations to new comers. The soup dumplings (Xiao long bao) is very good, cooked well with a great amount of broth inside, served piping hot. The pan fried dumplings are are also similar, very delicious. This is a great gem for people in the Cabramatta area who are craving Chinese dumplings but are unable to go to Ashfield.
The best thing about this place, next to the food is that I do not have to travel far to delicious dumplings! The Suppenknödel are delish, pan fried dumplings have something too much dough and the pasta are a must !!!! We ordered you that noodles half unsure, but it was the best court.

Amazing dumplings! Authentic Xiao Long Bao, that is very rare to find, and is extremely delicious! Decently priced food, and the service is fast. The customer service is quick but isn't the best. It can get busy at times, but the wait is worth it! Highly recommend!
i loved this place! it was $54 for 4 of us and it was a very satisfying feed. if i walked past this restaurant i honestly wouldnt go in but it has good rates on zomato and my experience proved it right! it was really good and i would come again :
Not city quality but it's the best in the area if you have a hankering for dumplings or all varieties; steamed, boiled or pan fried. The chilli oil dumplings os good, sweet and spicy.
Food was tasty and also reasonably priced. The fried rice and noodles were fairly large in portion, which was a bonus. Enjoyed the food a good mix of Chinese and Malaysian dishes.

Breath of fresh air in a viet populated cabra. Surprisingly good dumplings which sit right up there with any place you can find in Ashfield.
