My wife and I were looking for a place for good chicken wings. A family member suggested Shillelagh. We were pleasantly surprised to find them Appy Hour from 4-6pm. Wings are only $5 per record during this time and 0.45 cent per wing on Wednesday's. There are more 4 items in the Appy Hour menu that also receive this promotion. We ordered a bunch of wings, potato skins and plantains wrapped in bacon. The food was delicious! They were short employees when we left, but the waitress was very efficient, fast and friendly! Also the manager came by to check how we did (he also did this for other tables) and was very friendly. We received a great service all around! Very good food! Excellent service...
Wonderful Pub Grub. Will be safe again, new in range. The burger was thick and juicy, the Cheddar cheese was on the burger MELTED, and the mushrooms were thick and well grilled, you could actually see them. I love butter salad. Fries were crisp and soft. And only $16.50!! Server was super friendly ambience was great. Had an old friend there so clientele could be of a higher standard!!!
This is a super-dependable neighborhood watering hole. It's a casual crowd and the place fills up quickly around dinner time. Great variety of dishes, amazing appies, awesome happy hour deals, and friendly service. The pizza rolls dry ribs are insane! Great view of downtown Calgary from the upstairs patio.
Had the 50. Wedding celebration of my parents with 50 people upstairs and everything was great! The bar staff were very attentive and courteous, the food was delicious, and Ian, the manager, was very patient with the questions and wishes of my mother. My parents had a great time!
