Shiro Of Japan is an excellent choice for a hibachi lunch and ideal for hosting small birthday parties. Our chef was skilled, experienced, and entertaining. The food on the menu was delicious. They thoughtfully accommodated guests with egg allergies. The steak and shrimp were cooked perfectly to my taste, while my cousins enjoyed lobster and scallops that were also prepared just right. The prices were comparable to similar restaurants. The entire staff was friendly, attentive, and accommodating. According to my aunt, the drinks were spot on. There is plenty of parking available behind the building.

Shiro of Japan was my favorite restaurant when I was younger, so I was thrilled to find it still there during my recent business trip to Long Island. It lived up to all my memories, and I’m so glad I made the trip to Old Country Road for dinner. The chef was entertaining, and the food was delicious. I had the chicken with noodles, and there were plenty of leftovers for lunch tomorrow!
I had a fantastic lunch here. I usually skip the hibachi at Japanese restaurants in the U.S. and opt for sushi, or even better, a bento box for lunch. The Sushi Bento offered a generous portion with a wonderful variety of options. The staff was also very friendly. I highly recommend this place!

This restaurant is a must-visit for our family whenever we want to celebrate a special occasion or when we have guests. The prices are reasonable, especially considering its location. The service is quick, and the entertaining chefs are excellent, even for young children.
This was my first visit back since the pandemic. The restaurant is still great, but prices have definitely increased. I paid around $110 for a two-person hibachi meal, compared to about $80 previously. Despite the price, the experience remained enjoyable.

This restaurant is amazing! The chefs at the Sushi Bar are incredibly friendly. The double roll was the best sushi roll I've ever tasted.
It was a Date night ,we had a fun with folks at our table. The chef was too funny with his tricks and the food was delicious.
